We are looking for a highly motivated Inclusive Education Support Officer to join our dynamic team at Devon County Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with SEND.
Role Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist support to children with SEMH in a primary school setting. You will work closely with the SEMH Specialist Teacher to develop and implement individual educational plans, ensuring that each student receives the best possible support.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and teachers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour.
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide holistic support to students with complex needs.
- Relevant experience working with children with SEMH.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
