Job Role: Reward and Compensation Specialist

Location: UK-based business

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000+ (depending on experience)

As a key member of the HR team at HR Heads, this role will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive reward strategy to drive business success. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and review compensation and benefits structures to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Develop and implement job grading exercises to ensure fair and equitable compensation practices
  • Design and deliver effective communication materials and training programs to support new and existing compensation and benefits initiatives
  • Participate in due diligence processes during mergers and acquisitions to ensure seamless integration of compensation and benefits data
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits
  • Provide expert-level support for system reporting and data analysis
  • Maintain administrative excellence in benefits operations
  • Support the provision of data for monthly and annual reporting, including remuneration statements and minimum wage compliance

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a compensation and benefits role
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of reward concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Previous experience working with IT systems and data management
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power BI
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Able to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders across the organization
  • Confident presentation and communication skills
