VanRath's growing team in Magherafelt requires an experienced Account Administrator to manage sales and purchase ledgers, reconcile statements, recover debts, and address queries. As an Account Administrator, you will record supplier and subcontractor invoices, verify pricing and quantity accuracy, dispute discrepancies, request credit notes, and log receipts. Additionally, you will allocate costs to the correct nominal account, project, or department, reconcile supplier and subcontractor statements, process payments to suppliers and subcontractors, support fellow Accounts Administrators, and handle general inquiries while following company policies and procedures.
To be eligible for this role, candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a finance department in a similar role, possess strong data entry skills, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT literacy. A background in accounting, such as part or fully qualified Accounting Technician (IATI), or equivalent experience, as well as familiarity with Sage 200 Accounts software, is highly valued.
The chosen candidate will receive a salary of £22,000 - £28,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and will be working from our office in Magherafelt.
