Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Sales Specialist to join our team at Vertex IT Solutions Ltd. As a Cloud Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and driving a successful cloud strategy proposition for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a successful cloud strategy proposition for the business.
  • Work with the Sales Manager and the rest of the Sales team to continue to grow the department.
  • Help train and guide the existing sales teams channel in identifying cloud opportunities within their existing accounts base.
  • Engage with the company's in-house digital marketing specialist to run email and social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the company's in-house cloud technical specialists and project support team as well as external suppliers to bring solutions into service.
  • Sell IT and telecommunications services, particularly Microsoft and Exchange, Windows Server, plus cloud solutions like Office365, MS Teams/Skype for Business, Dropbox for Business, Symantec security, as well as off-site data backup and other cloud-based services.
  • Present to high-level decision-makers in various industry sectors.
  • Understand the sales cycle, including identifying prospects, handling objections, preparing and presenting proposals and solutions documents, and closing the sale.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales expertise in the cloud marketplace.
  • Demonstrated record of consistent success.
  • Familiarity with negotiating high-revenue minimum term contracts.
  • Microsoft/IT/Cloud sales accreditations already gained.
