About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team at Imperial College London. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, conducting, and interpreting large-scale clinical trials and systematic reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct clinical trials within the field of multimorbidity, with a focus on developing evidence-based recommendations to improve health outcomes.
  • Analyze large-scale clinical trial data to identify trends and patterns, and communicate research findings through scientific publications, policy reports, and conferences.
  • Contribute to the development of research projects and funding applications, and collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders to advance the field of multimorbidity.
  • Share responsibility for shaping the research group's plans and contributing to the writing of group-funding applications.
Requirements
  • A medical background or experience in dealing with multiple long-term conditions, including cardiology, general practice/internal medicine, nephrology, endocrinology, and neurology.
  • Adequate training in clinical epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.
  • A PhD degree or equivalent research experience in clinical trials, public health, statistics, data science, or a related field.
  • Experience in analyzing large-scale clinical trials, administrative databases, or routinely collected health-related datasets.
  • Knowledge of research methods and statistical procedures.
  • Practical experience within a research and clinical trial environment, and/or publications in relevant and refereed journals.
