Clinical Support Worker Higher Level Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Worker Higher Level to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our operating theatre department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of surgical procedures.
Main Responsibilities
As a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level, you will be responsible for setting up and preparing the theatre for elective procedures, checking equipment, and ensuring the theatre is ready for patients. You will also work closely with the scrub practitioner and surgeons to circulate the theatre and provide support during procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills. You will also need to have basic IT skills to use electronic patient records and other Trust systems. Additionally, you will need to have experience or knowledge of a theatre environment and hold a Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of patient and clinical care duties.
