Clinical Support Worker Higher Level Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Worker Higher Level to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our theatre team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and care for patients undergoing surgery, working within the Head & Neck, Plastics portfolio.
- Set up and ensure theatre is ready for the day, setting up for elective procedures, checking equipment and ensuring theatre is prepared for the patient.
- Circulate the theatre alongside a theatre practitioner, gaining a good understanding of the surgical procedures and the Head & Neck, Plastic speciality as a whole.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication & active listening skills.
- Timekeeping, planning & prioritisation skills.
- Basic IT skills to use electronic patient records & other Trust systems.
- Experience / knowledge of theatre environment.
- Numeracy and Literacy Level 2.
- Level 3 vocational qualification or Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties and/or Equivalent knowledge and experience in a range of clinical care duties equivalent to Level 3.
- Care certificate.
