Role Overview

As a Global Account Lead for Strategic Partnerships at Spotify, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and growth of a set of global strategic partnerships with advertisers. You will work closely with local and international sales teams to develop and implement joint business plans, scaled initiatives, and 'Spotify-firsts' that drive results for our advertising business and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the symphony of C-level and mid-level Spotify, advertiser, and agency partnership stakeholders for your global accounts.
  • Galvanize the global teams within Spotify, client, and agency through well-thought-out engagement, communication, and stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Own the development and implementation of JBP priorities for your accounts, in collaboration with Category Development, Trading, Sales, Agency Lead, and various other cross-functional partners.
  • Strategically advise local market sales and leadership teams and cross-functional partners on advertiser needs to open new paths for revenue growth; identify gaps, opportunities, and share successes.
  • Identify new markets and new opportunities for revenue growth across the accounts.
  • Build an action plan to drive this revenue growth in partnership with our local market Sales teams across the world.
  • Lead our internal Spotify community of cross-functional partners supporting these advertisers so we can enhance our efforts for complex global projects across the Spotify ecosystem.
  • Own internal and external global partnership communications, including cross-market updates, toolkits, partnership playbooks, and reporting.
  • Project-manage the execution of scalable programs, including education programs, data/insights workstreams, tool management, briefs, and RFPs, and other cross-Spotify innovation-driven programs across the named JBP accounts.
  • Help shape and inform future partnership development, innovation program initiatives, tracking, and engagement plans, as we continually grow and develop our team.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of global digital advertising sales experience within Fortune 100 companies.
  • Extensive network within FMCG/CPG, Technology & Telecom, and/or Media/Entertainment.
  • Experiences in growing revenue, scaling, and repeating standard processes and dealing with multiple partners at the same time.
  • Strategic operator with a service mentality, not frazzled by multiple processes, partners, and deadlines.
  • Excited about helping others drive success; mentoring and coaching sales professionals globally.
  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness, which encourages positive energy and passion throughout the organization and with our external partners.
  • Strong executive presence, confidently engaging key decision makers and C-level and mid-level executives, inside and outside of Spotify.
  • Comfortable with working through ambiguity, with an expert ability to navigate sophisticated, matrixed organizations, demonstrating their ability to influence others and build trust.
  • Passion for developing and delivering high-impact presentations and leading education programs for large audiences.
  • Strong understanding of Spotify user behavior, product, and targeting suite & the ability to translate technical or complicated ideas into ordinary and simple terms.
  • Ability to travel internationally and work flexibility to accommodate a reasonable amount of meetings in other timezones.

Location
This role will be based out of the London office.
