We're seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Lead to join our team in London, Sydney, or Berlin. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing strategic partnerships within the payments, financial services, or fintech industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Broaden Volt's payment capabilities through strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, payment schemes, and other ecosystem players.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies to enhance coverage across key markets and payment channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Volt's overall strategy and operational requirements.
  • Strengthen partnerships to drive resilience in our payment infrastructure and ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to foster strategic partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory developments to maintain compliance and competitiveness.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships or business development within the payments, financial services, or fintech industry.
  • Deep understanding of the payments infrastructure, focusing on A2A payments and Open banking.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen, with a history of executing deals that drive coverage and resilience while optimizing consumer experiences.
  • Operational expertise in managing complex projects and partnerships from strategy to execution.
  • Ability to collaborate across internal teams to align partnership strategies with business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business implications and trade-offs to inform strategic decisions.

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy a hybrid working model, 25 days holiday, private healthcare, and enhanced parental leave benefits.
