IT Support Engineer Opportunity

Cathcart Technology is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team in Inverness. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining the overall health of the IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st-3rd line support to end-users on-site, remotely, and by telephone
  • Assist with hardware and software support, including troubleshooting desktop, server, and network issues
  • Carry out occasional project work, such as upgrades and migrations
  • Work with Windows System Administration, Networking hardware administration, and VoIP systems
  • Perform hardware maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

  • Commercial experience in an IT Support environment
  • Exposure to Windows, Office, and desktop software and hardware
  • Knowledge of Windows System Administration, Networking hardware administration, and VoIP systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
