Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Graduate Youth Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Graduate Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the social, emotional, and mental health needs of vulnerable students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behavior and increase student engagement
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Conduct assessments and develop plans to address student needs
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Criminology, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those with social, emotional, and mental health challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
