About the role

The Youth Programme Leader role is an exciting opportunity to join the public engagement team at Oxford University Museum of Natural History. This is a team with a reputation for excellence and innovation within an organisation that strives to communicate and celebrate the sciences of the natural environment.

This is a part-time post hours per week) for 12 months.

Due to the nature of this post, the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced level of DBS check.

About You

We are looking for a passionate person with a passion for and expertise in natural history to further develop and deliver the informal learning programme for young people. You will create interesting, relevant and varied activities for young people between the ages of ten and nineteen years from diverse backgrounds.

You will be supported by the Museum's Head of Education and Learning and work alongside two newly appointed Youth Mentors.
