Advanced Anticoagulation Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our team as an Advanced Anticoagulation Specialist. This is a key role that requires a strong background in anticoagulation therapy, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
We are looking for a nurse who holds independent prescribing qualifications and has experience in managing anticoagulation dosing. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a prescribing and advisory service for all oral and parenteral anticoagulants for inpatients and outpatients.
- Offer expert advice on anticoagulation therapy to colleagues and clients.
- Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines related to anticoagulation therapy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- NMC registration.
- Independent prescribing qualification.
- Degree or diploma in nursing.
- Strong background in anticoagulation therapy.
