We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to lead our anticoagulation specialist team at James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for an independent prescriber to join our team, working full-time or part-time hours.

About the Role

This role involves providing advice on all aspects of anticoagulation therapy to colleagues and clients, as well as managing the team's workload and responsibilities. We are looking for an NMC registered nurse with experience in anticoagulation therapy, preferably with a management or leadership qualification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the anticoagulation specialist team in delivering high-quality patient care and services
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on anticoagulation therapy to colleagues and clients
  • Manage the team's workload and responsibilities, including prioritizing tasks and allocating resources
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • NMC registration
  • Experience in anticoagulation therapy, preferably with a management or leadership qualification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple priorities
Working Arrangements

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time or part-time hours, depending on the needs of the service.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
