As a Business Development Manager at eGain, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through inbound marketing leads. You will utilize the MEDDIC sales qualification methodology to ensure that leads handed over to our Client Directors are of high quality and possess significant growth potential.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Diligently research leads prior to initial phone calls to gain insight into their digital footprint and market standing.
  2. Precisely identify customer needs, pain points, and objectives during interactions, recording these details in CRM systems and reporting on a weekly basis.
  3. Develop and implement tailored content and engagement strategies to nurture leads across email, LinkedIn, and phone channels.
  4. Rigorously evaluate leads against established criteria to determine eligibility for sales consideration and dispose of non-progressive leads within CRM systems.
  5. Offer constructive feedback on lead quality.
  6. Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor lead metrics, and perform trend analysis to enhance qualification processes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • A proven track record in sales or business development, preferably within the SaaS or technology sectors.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
Remuneration Package

The estimated annual salary range for this position is between $90,000 - $115,000, contingent upon location and individual qualifications.
