About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Deal Specialist to join our Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team at AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, adoption, and customer success for our largest and fastest-growing customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies for strategic customer engagements, partnering with AWS Service teams to understand services and pricing.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, inspiring and influencing key internal stakeholders, experts, and customers to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Advise on commercial deal terms, understanding the competitive landscape and providing guidance on deal structuring.
  • Facilitate alignment and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and encourage productive interactions.
  • Cultivate best practices through analysis and reporting to support continuous improvements.

Requirements
  • Several years of experience working with customers on substantial, strategic, and complex software or cloud services/infrastructure deals.
  • Proven expertise with financial modeling for commercial pricing terms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Technology, or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree.
  • Understanding of the technology ecosystem.
  • Direct field experience in working with enterprise or commercial accounts.
