Acute Internal Medicine Training Programme Director

Role Overview

The Training Programme Director will work closely with the Head of School to lead the delivery of various functions aligned with the NHS England mandate. This role is a secondment for 3 years with the possibility of a further 2-year extension.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Head of School to improve learner supervision, assessment, and experience.
  2. Engage faculty members to ensure effective educational outcomes.
  3. Focus on whole workforce transformation and developing multi-professional links.
  4. Support the Postgraduate Dean in working across the spectrum of health and social care.

Requirements

Applicants from within the NHS will be offered on a secondment basis only. Agreement should be obtained from their employer prior to submitting the application.

NHS England holds a Sponsor Licence, allowing the possibility of sponsoring candidates who meet the Home Office requirements.

The role is for 0.5EMC, equating to 2 hours per week and £5000 per annum.
