About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Account Manager to join our team at The Progress Group. As a key member of our Customer Engagement Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to prospective, new, and existing customers.

Your primary focus will be on managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, including delivering demonstrations to upskill customers on our learner management system, selling additional products, and providing customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts to ensure exceptional customer experiences
  • Deliver demonstrations to upskill customers on our learner management system
  • Sell additional products to customers
  • Provide customer service to new and existing customers
  • Work closely with the Customer Engagement Team to build a strong pipeline of opportunities for all products available through the company
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience winning new business customers, working in similar sales, Account management or business development roles
  • Experience managing sales processes from start to finish, including identifying new prospects, securing initial meetings, carrying out demos, and successfully onboarding new clients
  • Excellent office/IT skills, including the ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, Google/Microsoft Docs, spreadsheets, and email
  • Ability to manage solution-led sales processes, tailoring solutions to reflect challenges care services may have recruiting or training staff
  • Understanding of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs
