We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Development Manager to join our team at The Progress Group.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior sales professional to develop and grow existing customer relationships, while also identifying new business opportunities. As a Senior Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, delivering demonstrations, selling additional products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their challenges and building solutions to help overcome them.
  2. Deliver presentations and product demos to prospective, new, and existing customers via Teams.
  3. Sell additional products and services to existing customers, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
  4. Identify new business opportunities through research and profiling, attending regional and national events to build brand awareness.
  5. Collaborate with the Customer Engagement Team to build a strong pipeline of opportunities for all products available through the company.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in a similar role, with a track record of winning new business and developing existing customer relationships.
  • Excellent office/IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Knowledge of alternative provision and experience working with students with special needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and build effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
