About the Role:
  • Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns: You will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely management accounts and VAT returns for our clients.
  • Management reporting: You will assist in preparing and presenting management reports, including analysis and interpretation of performance against key performance indicators.
  • Consolidated financial reporting: You will work closely with our clients to prepare consolidated financial reporting packs.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • CLOUD ACCOUNTING EXPERTISE: We require experience with cloud accounting software, such as Xero, QBO, or Dext, and associated applications.
  • ACA / ACCA QUALIFIED OR PART-QUALIFIED: You must be qualified or part-qualified with the ACA or ACCA certification.
  • ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE EXPERIENCE: We seek an individual with experience working within an accountancy practice, preferably in a management accounting role.
Benefits:
  • LIFE ASSURANCE: We offer life assurance at 2 x salary.
  • PENSION: In line with current legislation, you will be automatically enrolled after 3 months, contributing 3% and we will contribute 5%, increasing your life assurance to 4 x salary.
  • CRITICAL ILLNESS COVER: You will also receive critical illness cover.
  • BONUS OPPORTUNITIES: In addition, you will have opportunities to earn additional income through bonuses.
Location and Salary:

The role is based in Newbury, with the possibility of agile working after a qualifying period. The estimated annual salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.
