About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to join our team at SIG plc. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales targets and grow revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of customer needs
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a business-to-business sales role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Experience of selling at Director/MD/Board level
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving budgets and targets
  • Strong customer focus and in-depth understanding of operations and sales processes
  • Proven sales and negotiation ability
  • Good listener, highly motivated to deliver results
  • Personally well-organized, good planner with structured problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience of using a web-based CRM system desirable
