Compliance and Efficiency Specialist

Rugby Borough Council is seeking a Compliance and Efficiency Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for ensuring all waste handling and disposal activities comply with local and government policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

About the Role:
- Ensure all waste handling and disposal activities comply with regulatory and safety standards.
- Supervise day-to-day waste collection, segregation, and disposal activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Train and support waste management staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to improve waste management processes, focusing on cost efficiency, sustainability, and waste reduction.
