Financial Operations Specialist

Selby Jennings is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our middle office, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our trade lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile trading positions with counterparties and internal systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Settle trades efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Analyze reports on exposure positions, trading profit/loss, and other key metrics to support decision-making.
- Provide exceptional support to traders and other stakeholders by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to trade operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous experience in middle office operations, preferably within the oil trading industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
