Senior IDAM Engineer FTC (Grade 7)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our IDAM engineering team as a Senior IDAM Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining our IDAM frameworks, systems, and protocols.

IDAM Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Producing detailed design specifications for IDAM systems, including physical data flows and impact analysis.
  • Developing and implementing Role-based Access Control (RBAC) policies, models, and guidelines that align with University needs and security best practice.
  • Reviewing and improving user lifecycle management processes to enhance the user experience.
  • Providing technical expertise on strategic, large/complex security and/or identity and access management projects.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest network security technologies and best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience with advanced engineering practices, such as Azure DevOps.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing technical understanding on strategic, large/complex security and/or identity and access management projects.
  • Knowledge of network security technologies.
