Role Overview

Within the Information Systems and Identity and Access Management (IS and IDAM) division, the IDAM Technical Services Lead will oversee a team of IDAM Analysts and Engineers. This role involves resource planning, work scheduling, progress monitoring, and proactive incident management to ensure a seamless service delivery. The primary objectives include maintaining service stability, swiftly addressing incidents, and continuously enhancing service value for the University.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on identity and access management technologies and related issues to senior management, IDAM Analysts/Engineers, and external partners.
  • Promote and implement IDAM industry standards across IT Services and the broader University, contributing to the formulation and execution of IDAM strategies.
  • Lead the planning, development, and maintenance of IDAM technologies, ensuring collaborative efforts with other IT teams for shared objectives.
  • Manage schedules and oversee IT maintenance and installation activities, including significant configuration changes and upgrades, while ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
  • Ensure that operational procedures are effective and up-to-date, with accountability for incident and problem management, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
  • Extensive experience in leading technical teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Strong technical foundation with a proven track record in delivering and managing IDAM tools and technologies.
  • Experience in overseeing complex security and identity management projects.
  • Familiarity with IDAM principles and tools such as SSO, federation, MFA, and Active Directory.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and manage expectations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a passion for promoting technical excellence.
  • Preferred qualifications include ITIL V4, CISM, and CISSP.
