About the Job:

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Woodrow Mercer Healthcare Group.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled health and safety professional to make a real impact on our organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing health and safety systems and providing expert advice to senior managers.

Key responsibilities include serving as the Trust's recognised expert on all health, safety, and welfare issues and managing and further developing the Trust's Health and Safety systems.

The estimated salary for this position is £62,500 - £82,500 per annum, depending on experience.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the Trust's recognised expert on all health, safety, and welfare issues.
  2. Manage and further develop the Trust's Health and Safety systems to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
  3. Advise the Trust Board, Committees, managers, and staff on relevant legislation and best practices.
  4. Provide expert advice to Senior Managers on compliance with legislation and national directives from the HSE and CQC.
