The successful candidate will play a key part in fostering a culture of safety, conducting thorough inductions, assessing risk, and maintaining health and safety paperwork.
As a Health & Safety Officer, you will be responsible for:
- On-Site Leadership: Actively monitor site activities, address health and safety issues in real-time.
- Inductions & Training: Conduct thorough inductions for all site personnel, ensuring they understand and adhere to safety protocols.
- Risk Assessments: Assess and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring they meet the highest safety standards.
- Documentation Management: Maintain and monitor all health and safety paperwork, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Proactive Safety Monitoring: Perform regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong knowledge: UK health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Relevant qualifications: NEBOSH or equivalent.
