About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team at Anglian Water's @one Alliance. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving change and empowering us to set global benchmarks in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver complete designs that meet project requirements, embracing technological advancements and ensuring technical outputs meet the requirements of the Totex Delivery Process.
  • Develop and embed standard products, quality standards, collaborative working approaches, and the Risk, Opportunity & Value process to optimize performance and reputation.
  • Drive and champion excellence in Health & Safety, completing required audits and documentation, and ensuring the safety of all personnel during projects.
  • Plan the technical aspects of projects, liaising with Lead Project Managers, Integrated Project Leaders, and Discipline Heads, and allocating resources to meet project demands.
  • Effectively manage diverse stakeholder groups, acting as the trusted and visible technical link between Operations, Construction, and Commissioning.
  • Provide an environment where individuals can thrive and develop, enhancing the overall team's performance by consistently pushing boundaries and outperforming.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree, HNC, or HND in Engineering and have experience in a technical role, managing designs and multi-disciplinary projects. You will be able to inspire and lead a team, be customer-focused, and have a strong appreciation for collaboration and its ability to unlock complex projects.

Location

This role is based in Peterborough, with site visits across the East Anglia Region. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
