Job Description

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Entech Technical Solutions Ltd. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to aftermarket parts, dealer and OEM customers, and developing and implementing solutions to enhance customer loyalty.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide technical support to aftermarket parts, dealer and OEM customers
  • Develop and implement solutions to enhance customer loyalty
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and recommend alternative courses of action
  • Advise on and recommend ways to improve product sales, dealer effectiveness, and overall segment growth
  • Manage OEM product support accounts, distributor product support accounts, and dealer product support accounts
  • Lead customer issue resolution and warranty management
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure product quality and evaluate results to identify functional deficiencies
  • Solicit and gather internal and external feedback to identify potential new products and/or improvements to existing products
  • Write technical specifications and instructions to ensure product quality and performance
  • Facilitate root cause investigations and corrective actions to minimize impact to customers
  • Conduct dealer and customer visits to provide support for new product introduction or assist with technical issues

**Requirements:**

  • Technical support/service experience
  • Mechanical engineering background and detailed knowledge
  • Problem-solving ability, proof in previous technical support experience
  • Technical foundation in complex machinery, whole system automotive, or heavy goods vehicle
  • Comparable engineering degree or HND/HNC
  • Ability to work as part of a team collaborating with colleagues in different geographies

**Working Arrangements:**

  • Minimum 3 days on-site per week
  • Hybrid working available

**Pay Rate:** £35.50ph FCSA Umbrella, paye £25.50ph
