Chester Zoo is a world-renowned centre of excellence for conservation and scientific research. We are seeking an exceptional strategic leader to join our team as our Chief Conservation Officer/Deputy CEO. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on global conservation efforts and drive forward our exciting strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of and passion for global conservation issues, bring a collaborative and collegiate approach, strong communication skills, excellent people management skills and experience, commercial acumen, and the ability and standing to be a strong advocate for our organisation and influence at senior level in relevant arenas.

**What we offer:**

  • A competitive salary of £100,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience
