Sales Support Director

We are seeking a Sales Support Director to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of the sales support function, you will be responsible for overseeing internal business systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across sales and commercial teams.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, commercial support, or a similar role, with a relevant qualification in business, finance, management, or a related field. You will also possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, develop pricing models, and make recommendations based on financial insights.
This is a hybrid role, combining home, remote, and office-based work. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, your main responsibilities will include:
Business System Management- Overseeing and managing internal business systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Providing training, troubleshooting, and maintaining best practices for CRM usage to support the sales team.
- Analysing internal data to identify trends, customer behaviour, and potential opportunities, providing insights to sales and commercial teams.
- Conducting initial reviews of contract terms and conditions to ensure alignment with company policies and risk management guidelines.
- Coodinating with legal and commercial teams to address any identified risks or discrepancies in contract T&Cs.
- Providing guidance to the sales team on contractual requirements and assisting in negotiations when needed.
- Collaborating with sales and commercial teams to ensure all relevant information is included in tender responses.
- Tracking tender opportunities and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and high-quality submissions.
- Assisting in setting and updating pricing strategies based on market research, competitor analysis, and profitability targets.
- Working with commercial teams to develop pricing models for new products or services.
- Providing pricing recommendations and support during the proposal and negotiation stages to meet both customer needs and revenue goals.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000 per annum, plus annual bonus and benefits package including a fully expensed company car and 25 days' holiday per year. If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience for this role, please apply today.
