Packaging Sales Director

Are you a seasoned sales leader with a passion for sustainable solutions? Magical Mushroom Company, the pioneering force behind mushroom-based packaging, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Packaging Sales Director to join our team.
About the Role:This exciting opportunity involves achieving repeat and ad-hoc sales to meet company targets, driving significant inbound lead conversions, and developing a sales strategy for new business opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will oversee CRM and Monday.com metrics, conduct in-depth research, and negotiate prices for new business.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in sales leadership, specifically in bespoke polystyrene sales, and a proven track record of closing sales and securing repeat contract orders.
Responsibilities:- Achieve repeat and ad-hoc sales to meet company sales targets
- Drive significant inbound lead conversions and outbound sales
- Develop, communicate, maintain, and implement the sales strategy for new business opportunities
- Oversee CRM and Monday.com metrics to ensure the closure of current and future pipeline through the sales cycle in accountable territories
- Educated to degree level, preferably in Engineering; MSc and/or MBA desirable
- At least 10 years of experience in sales leadership, specifically in bespoke polystyrene sales
- Knowledge of bespoke design process, CAD, tooling, thermoforming, and injection moulding
- Proven track record of closing sales and securing repeat contract orders
We offer a competitive salary (£60,000 - £80,000 per annum) and uncapped OTE (On Target Earnings), making this an excellent opportunity for a sales professional looking to make a real difference in the world.
