About the Role:
Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at a leading mental health hospital in the Greater Manchester area.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current active NMC Pin to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective care for individuals with complex mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Conduct risk assessments and observations to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive care, including medication management and coordination of care.
- Act as a shift coordinator, allocating staff and overseeing the work of junior staff and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation, adhering to regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and professional guidelines.
Requirements:
- Current active NMC Pin.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and warmth in patient interactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days and nights.
