Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Specialist DBT Rehab Nurse. As a key member of our mental health hospital team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and support nursing care to the ward, acting as a named nurse for a defined group of patients.
- Assess, plan, and deliver nursing care that takes account of patient needs, choices, and wishes.
- Accurately communicate with, observe, and engage with service users to assess need and evaluate progress.
- Promote and adhere to the DBT model.
- Participate in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governance.
- Provide accurate information about care in an accessible format to service users and their families.
- Act as the nurse in charge of the ward, ensuring a safe environment.
- Maintain good clinical records and team communication.
- Support and contribute to multidisciplinary team practice.
- Adhere to codes of practice and national guidelines.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to service improvement and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, IT literate.
