Job Summary:

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced mental health hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective care for individuals with complex mental illness, working collaboratively with a large multi-disciplinary team.
  • Observe and respond to patient behaviors on the ward, including self-harm and acts of aggression.
  • Formulate risk assessments and care plans to meet individual needs, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
  • Manage medication and act as shift coordinator, allocating staff and overseeing the work of junior staff and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient documentation, adhering to regulatory guidelines and statutory requirements.
  • Practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and professional guidelines.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrate empathy and warmth in interactions with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to write care plans and conduct observations, using initiative to drive patient care.
  • Carry out general nursing tasks and maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
