Job Opportunity for RMN or RNLD Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and compassionate RMN or RNLD Nurse to join our team at a leading healthcare provider in the Greater Manchester area.

This hospital offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults, providing innovative and high-quality care and treatment for patients with challenging and complex needs.

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified as an RMN or RNLD Nurse with an active NMC Pin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and effective care for individuals with complex mental illness.
  • Observe and respond to patient behaviors on the ward, including self-harm and acts of aggression.
  • Formulate risk assessments and care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Manage medication and act as shift coordinator, allocating staff and overseeing the work of junior staff and colleagues.
  • Maintain patient and staff safety, ensuring good quality of patient documentation that meets regulatory guidance and statutory requirements.
  • Work within the NMC Code of Conduct and practice guidelines.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to show empathy and warmth.
  • Capacity to write care plans and carry out observations.
  • Initiative to use own initiative.
  • Ability to carry out general nursing tasks.
