About the Job

Triumph Consultants Limited is seeking a highly skilled Adult Social Care Manager - AMHP Role to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing expert advice, support, supervision, and professional guidance to team members.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act and mental health social work practice. Additionally, they should have experience of dealing with complex safeguarding/social care issues and proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality assure and monitor expenditure as required by the business unit.
  • Manage/supervise up to 10 AMHPs.
  • Contribute to the maintenance, development, and improvement of the AMHP service to promote evidence-based good practice.
  • Provide advice, support, and expertise to colleagues within the business unit.
  • Maintain essential records in accordance with the policies of the business unit.
  • Undertake statutory duties as required for the work of the service group.

Requirements:

  • Professional qualifications, i.e., Degree in social work, CSS CQSW, Dip SW.
  • Social Work England Registration.
  • AMHP Qualification.
  • Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organization.
  • Significant experience of working within an adult setting.
  • Able to critically analyze, evaluate, and apply knowledge of legislation, local policy, and procedures.

Benefits: £25.80 per hour PAYE (approximately £95,000 per annum)
