We are seeking a Clinical Lead Specialist to join our team at the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and be responsible for the effective management of our services, ensuring they meet key performance indicators and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in operational management, with a proven track record of successfully completing change management programmes within a clinical service. They will also have experience of budget setting, managing and monitoring large budgets.

A strong leadership presence is essential for this role, as the Clinical Lead Specialist will be required to hold staff to account against objectives and valid measures of performance, coaching Operational and Clinical Leads to be effective, self-reliant and proactive leaders in the organisation.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including career development and progression, an excellent NHS Pension scheme, generous maternity, paternity and adoption leave, options for flexible working, up to 27 days annual leave and extensive Health and Wellbeing support and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management: Ensure the effective management of our services, meeting key performance indicators and contractual requirements.
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership presence, holding staff to account against objectives and valid measures of performance, coaching Operational and Clinical Leads to be effective, self-reliant and proactive leaders.
  • Budget Management: Experience of budget setting, managing and monitoring large budgets.
  • Change Management: Proven track record of successfully completing change management programmes within a clinical service.
