Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee the development of a web-based service for our Information Management Assessment (IMA) programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, leading agile teams, and ensuring delivery of digital products that meet user needs. This role is crucial in enhancing the accessibility and inclusivity of our IMA programme across government bodies and the public sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Roadmap Creation: Develop and manage product roadmaps, defining MVPs and prioritizing tasks for iterative improvement.
  • Supplier Management: Lead supplier management efforts, fostering collaborative cultures to deliver high-quality digital products.
  • Lifecycle Management: Guide teams through various stages of the delivery lifecycle, adapting priorities as needed.
  • Operational Management: Ensure seamless transition of new services, overseeing operational processes from design to deployment.
  • Problem Ownership: Identify and address problems using Product Management principles, driving analysis to determine effective solutions.
  • User Focus: Engage with users to understand needs, turning insights into actionable product deliverables.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in product ownership, agile working, and lifecycle management. A strong background in supplier management, problem ownership, user focus, and strategic ownership is also essential. Experience with GDS Service Assessments, CI/CD, and knowledge of digital landscapes would be advantageous.
