Mason Blake, a leading global asset management house, is seeking an experienced Product Governance Manager to join its high-performing Product team on a permanent basis.

About the Role

The Product Governance Manager will play a key regulatory role within the Product function, assuming the following remit:

  • Enhance the Product Governance and Value Assessment Framework to meet the highest regulatory requirements and expectations, protecting investors' best interests.
  • Represent the Product Governance team at Committee meetings.
  • Contribute ideas for investment product 'deep dives' with the Head of Investments.
  • Draft quarterly performance reports for the Product Governance Committee.
  • Monitor products and manage Product Governance processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Development, Compliance, Investment Risk, and Fund Managers.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including the FCA.
  • Embed the Product Governance framework in business-as-usual activities.
  • Stay aware of investment markets and regulatory/governance frameworks.
  • Ensure adherence to legal requirements, compliance, and good business conduct.
About You

To succeed as our Product Governance Manager, you will need:

  • Strong experience in a product governance-related role in the asset management sector.
  • Confidence in building strong working relationships.
  • A background in conducting Value Assessment reviews and producing Value Assessment statements.
  • Awareness of the regulatory environment within financial services and applicable FCA and EU regulation (e.g., FCA PROD, SFDR).
  • Knowledge of Product Governance regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • A strong understanding of investment products.
  • Holding the IMC or equivalent.
Compensation Package
