Government Engagement Manager

We are seeking a skilled government engagement manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. As a principal in our Wales and Government Engagement team, you will play a critical role in facilitating interactions between Ofwat and various stakeholders within different UK government departments.

Your responsibilities will include participating in open policy debates, sharing views, challenging assumptions, and representing the team and Ofwat. You will also build strong relationships with key stakeholders in various UK government departments, acting as the primary point of contact for government-related inquiries and communications.

In addition to your core duties, you will provide strategic advice and support to Ofwat's leadership on government engagement matters, monitoring and analyzing policy developments and legislative changes that may impact Ofwat's work. This requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, based in London or Birmingham. Our benefits package includes a generous employer pension contribution, access to exclusive discounts, recognition vouchers, and shared parental leave and pay.
