Strategic Procurement Manager

We are in search of a seasoned Purchasing Manager to become part of a vibrant team within a prominent global firm that specializes in high-end machinery for critical safety markets. This role will be essential in leading and enhancing the procurement team to meet the operational goals of the organization, emphasizing global sourcing, supplier relations, and cost efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplier materials.
- Monitor and report on annual cost reduction achievements.
- Facilitate managed inventory reduction and improvements in working capital.
- Oversee supplier negotiations and drive performance enhancements.
- Implement strategic purchasing initiatives that align with the company's objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive supply market and supply chain analyses to optimize costs and enhance value.
- Negotiate and develop supply agreements, service level agreements, and contracts.
- Promote continuous improvement within the supply chain and internal processes.
- Support internal projects related to product development and the introduction of new products.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in managing people and processes within a dynamic manufacturing or engineering supply chain environment.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and influencing abilities.
- Technical or engineering background with a solid understanding of technical drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in drafting and interpreting contract documents.
- Experience in global sourcing and advanced purchasing techniques is highly advantageous.
