About the Role

This Procurement Business Partner position is a critical component of our procurement and supply chain department, responsible for delivering strategic and operational procurement services to our organization. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact, contributing to the efficient operation of our procurement and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our company's objectives, ensuring maximum value and efficiency in our procurement processes.

Manage Supplier Relationships

Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet our business needs.

Ensure Compliance

Ensure that all procurement processes and activities are compliant with relevant regulatory requirements, laws, and industry standards.

Lead and Mentor a Team

Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our procurement and supply chain functions.

Drive Cost Savings and Efficiency

Drive cost savings and efficiency improvements in our procurement activities, analyzing market trends and applying insights to inform our procurement strategies.

Maintain Accurate Records

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including contracts, agreements, and supplier information.

Collaborate with Other Departments

Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated business processes and effective communication.

Requirements
  • Qualifications

A degree qualification in a relevant field, such as procurement, supply chain management, or business administration.

Experience

Experience in procurement within the not-for-profit or charity sector, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and compliance.

Leadership Skills

Leadership skills and experience managing a team, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Negotiation and Relationship Management Skills

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
