Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Strategy Development
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and drive business growth.
  • Supplier Relationship Management
    • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for goods and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a team in the procurement and supply chain department, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Cost Savings and Efficiency
    • Drive cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement activities, analyzing market trends and applying insights to procurement strategies.
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated business processes and effective communication.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Qualifications
    • A degree qualification in a relevant field, such as business, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Experience
    • Experience in procurement within the not-for-profit or charity sector, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement regulations and compliance.
  • Leadership Skills
    • Leadership skills and experience managing a team, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve successful project delivery.
  • Negotiation and Relationship Management
    • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and apply insights to procurement strategies.
