Procurement Business Partner

At Stonewater, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Business Partner to lead the delivery of procurement-related activities across our Innovation & People, Finance Governance & Assurance, and Customer Experience directorates.

This role will support the implementation of our Procurement Strategy, with a focus on tendering and contract management within designated directorates. The successful candidate will develop category strategies, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and drive the integration of procurement as an in-house function.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end sourcing exercises, a deep understanding of public procurement regulations, and a good working knowledge of the upcoming Procurement Act. They will also possess a strong analytical skillset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide professional advice and guidance to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering directorate-specific sourcing plans
  • Leading and delivering high volumes of tenders in line with public procurement regulations
  • Identifying and mitigating risk and compliance issues
  • Contributing to the implementation of a Continuous Improvement approach

We are looking for a dynamic and confident individual who can provide professional advice and guidance to stakeholders on procurement matters. An MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
