About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our Procurement Team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing a number of procurement categories, including digital services, to ensure that supplier contracts are compliantly procured, provide value for money, and support the organization's strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement categories to ensure compliance with public procurement law and regulations.
  • Vet contract terms and conditions to ensure they meet organizational requirements.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize procurement opportunities.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

About You

We are looking for a professional with a strong background in procurement, contract law, and project management. You will have experience in managing multiple projects, developing procurement strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders. You will also have a good understanding of public procurement law and regulations.
