Facilitator (IMPACT Centre)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilitator to join our IMPACT Centre team. As a Facilitator, you will play a key role in reviewing and synthesizing evidence, co-designing and delivering evidence-informed improvement projects, and sharing learning with others.
About the RoleThis is a part-time (50% FTE) fixed-term position for 12 months. The successful candidate will be based in either Edinburgh or Aberdeen and will work closely with our national Facilitator lead. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, collaborating with stakeholders across the UK to drive improvement in social care.
Key Responsibilities- Review and synthesize evidence on a range of topics, including research, lived experience, and practice knowledge.
- Co-design and deliver evidence-informed improvement projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure projects meet the needs of host organizations.
- Share learning from projects with others, supporting the embedding of lessons learned in policy and practice across the UK.
- Be a full member of the IMPACT team, contributing to team meetings and informally sharing skills and experience with others.
- Work with a fellow Facilitator to evaluate the impact of projects, ensuring that projects apply evidence research, practice knowledge, and lived experience.
- Champion and operationalize IMPACT's commitment to co-production, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- First degree of a good standard relevant to this area of practice or equivalent professional qualification.
- Understanding of public policy, public services, front-line practice, and/or the realities of people's lives.
- Experience of applied research and/or the implementation of innovation/new ways of working within a social care or related area of practice and policy.
- Strong commitment to the principles of co-production and embedding these in all aspects of work.
- Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
