Facilitator (IMPACT Centre)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilitator to join our IMPACT Centre team. As a Facilitator, you will play a key role in reviewing and synthesizing evidence, co-designing and delivering improvement projects, and sharing learning with others.
About the RoleThis is a part-time (50% FTE) fixed-term position for 12 months. The successful candidate will be based in either Edinburgh or Aberdeen and will work closely with our national Facilitator lead. You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and synthesizing evidence on a specific topic, including research, lived experience, and practice knowledge
- Co-designing and delivering an evidence-informed improvement project, in collaboration with stakeholders
- Sharing learning from the project with others, including policy and practice communities
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of IMPACT's work
- Working with a fellow Facilitator to evaluate the impact of the project
The successful candidate will have:
- A first degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional qualification
- An understanding of public policy, public services, and front-line practice
- Experience of applied research and/or the implementation of innovation in social care or related areas
- A strong commitment to co-production and embedding these principles in all aspects of work
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- High-level personal organization and motivation
- Collaborative and flexible approach to work
