Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilitator to join our IMPACT Centre team at the University of Stirling. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and synthesizing evidence, co-designing and delivering improvement projects, and sharing learning with others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and synthesize evidence on a specific topic, working closely with our national Facilitator lead and host organizations.
  • Co-design and deliver evidence-informed improvement projects, ensuring they meet the needs of host organizations and engage extensively with key stakeholders.
  • Share learning from projects with others, supporting the embedding of lessons learned in policy and practice across the UK.
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to other aspects of IMPACT's work, and help distil lessons to shape our future ways of working.
  • Work with a fellow Facilitator to evaluate the impact of your project, and vice versa.
  • Ensure projects apply evidence research, practice knowledge, and lived experience, and champion IMPACT's commitment to co-production, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Requirements
  • A first degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional qualification.
  • An understanding of public policy, public services, front-line practice, and the realities of people's lives.
  • Experience of applied research and/or implementing innovation in social care or related areas.
  • A strong commitment to co-production and embedding these principles in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • High-level personal organization and motivation, with a collaborative and flexible approach to work.
  • An awareness of personal strengths and weaknesses, with the ability to work reflexively.
