Job Title: Facilitator (IMPACT Centre)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilitator to join our IMPACT Centre team. As a Facilitator, you will play a key role in reviewing and synthesizing evidence on a specific topic, co-designing and delivering an evidence-informed improvement project, and sharing learning with others.

About the Role

This is a part-time (50% FTE) fixed-term position for 12 months. The successful candidate will be based in a host organization (one post in Edinburgh and one post in Aberdeen) and will work closely with the IMPACT national Facilitator lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and synthesize evidence on a specific topic, including research, lived experience, and practice knowledge.
  • Co-design and deliver an evidence-informed improvement project, working closely with stakeholders and ensuring the inclusion of people whose voices are seldom heard.
  • Share learning with others, including through presentations and written reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IMPACT's internal evaluation.
  • Work with a fellow Facilitator to evaluate the impact of their project.
Requirements
  • First degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience of applied research and/or the implementation of innovation/new ways of working within a social care or related area of practice and policy.
  • Strong commitment to co-production and embedding these principles in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • High level of personal organization and motivation.
  • Collaborative and flexible approach to work and excellent interpersonal skills.
